Aurelie was our local guide in Colmar, and she did a wonderful job. Despite the cold weather, she was attentive to our group’s comfort and even arranged a stop for hot chocolate to help us warm up. Her personal connections to the area and the stories she shared made the tour especially engaging and enjoyable. Aurelie has excellent interpersonal skills and is a clear, thoughtful communicator. She truly made the experience memorable.

We are a family that believes in walking tours to orient ourselves to a new destination. So we’ve taken many. And, as we all know, it’s about the guide, as well as the destination. Aurelie’s private walking tour of Colmar stands out as one of our best ever. A Colmar native, she could answer any question and was able to enrich our knowledge with personal stories, reminisces, recommendations and anecdotes. Her English, honed from years of travel abroad, was excellent. The stipend to get a local treat was a very fun bonus, particularly because we had the option to choose the category (patisserie — as if anything else could be selected) and she walked us to “the best” and made recommendations on our selections. Colmar is an excellent, interesting, highly walkable destination and if you can get Aurelie as your guide, I think you’ll find this tour very rewarding. We used this tour to ground ourselves and choose our activities for the next 2 days! Thank you, Aurelie.
