Our guide was very friendly, however, for the price, we expected more. Our husbands took the inexpensive audio tour at the castle and heard similar information. He should have more stories and less dead time. We had to ask questions to get more information out of him.

Met tour guide right outside the main entrance. He contacted us using WhatsApp and easily shared his location with us so we had no difficulty meeting up. Once within Carcasonne, we were given a personal and 1:1 tour experience. Seeing how everyone around us was walking around we were very happy to have an expert guide. He even took us to new Carcasonne which typical tourists dont see on their own. Would recommend!
